Good
evening readers
I still have much
work to do this week. I need to start making money.
I have finally set
up a small business model that will work.
The Beginner
Piano School (BPS) is the result of my many failed attempts at
starting a successful, profitable business. I am fatally destined to
be an entrepreneur, fatally because I will be successful or I will
die trying. BPS was created with the wisdom that can only be learned
through the experiences of trying and crashing and burning. This
business will succeed where I failed before, succeed with I would
fail if I hadn't already made those mistakes before.
Why will I be
successful this time? What will I do differently?
Reasons BSP
will succeed:
- BSP is realistic, reasonable, practicable and achievable, right now
- Teaching Piano is something I Want to Do
- I have the skills to make this happen (thorough comprehension of music theory)
- I am extremely passionate about the subject (teaching music theory)
- I have very knowledgeable about the field (teaching piano)
- I have all the necessary resources (no overhead)
- I have the ability and intelligence (music experience, guitar-10 + years)
- I have the time (nothing better to do)
- I have the motivation and enthusiasm (nothing else I want to do right now)
- I have the ambition and desire
- Good location (Saratoga Springs and Albany NY)
- Nitch in the marketplace (new students that want to learn piano)
- Good demand for service (in home piano lesson)
- Not too much competition (who else is doing this in my area?)
- I can created customers (everyone is a potential customer)
- I can also try harder to find new customers (door to door, post more flyers)
- success can come quick (I could start making money right away!)
- no long term investment (other than my time)
- I will be my own boss (I am in control)
- I love classical music (listening to, studying theory, playing and teaching, I love it all)
- I believe I can do this and be successful and happy
- Proven to be possible and successful by JJ
Door
to door selling, being in people's homes for lessons will also
provide me with the opportunity to offer more services to more even
more potential customers. Along with regularly scheduled (ideally
weekly) piano lesson
